Spurs hosted Stanford freshman Harrison Ingram for pre-draft workout

Ingram, who was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, averaged 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and three assists in 32 games.

Stanford freshman Harrison Ingram was among the prospects that worked out with the San Antonio Spurs on Tuesday, according to Noah Magaro-George of Pounding the Rock.

Ingram, who was named the Pac-12 Freshman of the Year, averaged 10.5 points, 6.7 rebounds and three assists in 32 games. He was one of two true freshmen in the country (Paolo Banchero, Duke) to average at least 10 points, six rebounds and three assists.

The 6-foot-7 forward declared for the NBA draft on March 30 while maintaining his remaining collegiate eligibility. In addition to working out with teams, Ingram will also participate in the draft combine May 18-22 in Chicago, Illinois.

Ingram is considered to be a possible first-round pick that will bring good size to the next level at 230 pounds. He has displayed good court vision, often making the right reads, and will be able to handle the ball some in the NBA.

The Spurs enter the pre-draft process with three first-round picks (Nos. 9, 20 and 25) and the 38th pick in the second round prior to the lottery. The team recently started ramping up its draft preparations by hosting workouts ahead of the combine with Ingram among those to stop in.

The early entry withdrawal deadline for underclassmen is June 1.
