Spread, line for Nets’ Game 2 matchup with Raptors

The Brooklyn Nets did not cover for those who bet on them at +10.5 on Monday, but the opening spread hasn’t changed much for Game 2.

The Brooklyn Nets were far from favorites heading into Game 1 of their first-round matchup against the Toronto Raptors on Monday, but they weren’t expected to lose by 24 points.

When BetMGM set the spread for Game 1, the sportsbook was giving the Nets 10.5 points. Clearly, the Nets didn’t cover.

However, the spread hasn’t changed all that much heading into Game 2. BetMGM is giving the Nets 11 points Wednesday. The money line on Brooklyn pulling off the upset is +545, whereas the line on Raptors improving to 2-0 is -834.

The Nets remain one of the trickier team to predict in the Disney bubble game-to-game, given what happened on Monday and against the Boston Celtics during seeding play and the fact they have upset both the Milwaukee Bucks and Toronto Raptors.

BetMGM set the over/under for Wednesday’s matchup at 226.5 points (-110). Among the other betting options BetMGM has to offer for Game 2 are taking the Nets to win by 6-10 points (+1200), the race to 10 points (Nets are +135) and whether the final score will be odd (-115) or even (-106).
