Before looking at SportsbookWire staff’s Week 13 NFL picks, here are the against-the-spread (ATS) and Over/Under (O/U) leaders, according to Teamrankings.com.
The Detroit Lions (10-1 straight up) head into their Thanksgiving home game vs. the Chicago Bears (4-7) with the NFL’s best ATS record at 9-2 — the Bears are 5-4-2 ATS.
The Denver Broncos (7-5) have the second-best ATS record at 9-3, while the Pittsburgh Steelers (8-3) are 8-3 ATS, the Indianapolis Colts (5-7) are 8-4 ATS and the Minnesota Vikings (9-2) are 7-3-1 ATS.
Even though the Tennessee Titans (3-8) won outright 32-27 as 8-point underdogs at the Houston Texans (7-5) in Week 12, Tennessee owns the NFL’s worst ATS record at 2-9.
Three teams are 3-8 ATS. They are the Dallas Cowboys (4-7), New York Giants (2-9) and New York Jets (3-8). The Cowboys host the Giants Thanksgiving Day at 4:30 p.m. ET (FOX). BetMGM Sportsbook lists the Cowboys as 3.5-point favorites as of Wednesday at 10:16 p.m. ET.
The Baltimore Ravens (8-4) continue to be the top Over team in the league with an O/U record of 10-2. They host the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET (CBS). The Eagles are 7-4 ATS with a 5-6 O/U showing. BetMGM Sportsbook’s Over/Under line is 51.5 for this big showdown.
The Carolina Panthers (3-8) Cincinnati Bengals (4-7) and Las Vegas Raiders (2-9) are each 8-3 O/U.
The Giants are the best Under team at 3-8 O/U, while the Texans are 4-8 O/U.
With it being Thanksgiving week, there are no byes.
