Of all the Nets players who’ve seen their name pop up in the NBA trade rumor mill this offseason, no one has addressed the talks like Spencer Dinwiddie.
Coincidentally, there also may not be a member of Brooklyn’s roster who’s seen their name mentioned in trade talks more.
“It’s part of the business of the NBA,” Dinwiddie said about the rumors on House of Highlights in October.
“To feel forgotten about after averaging 20 points a game is an interesting experience. But it’s a lot better than feeling forgotten about and averaging four points a game. You just roll with it and try to plug in the best you can on the team that you’re on and figure it out day-by-day.”

But Dinwiddie’s reaction to a tweet from Nets Daily stating ESPN’s Brian Windhorst has heard the guard is available in trade talks was a little different:
I had the most fun years of my career playing for the Nets.

Outside of course when my dad used to coach me before middle school 🤣 https://t.co/cIpR6YOPuk

Keyword in the tweet: had.
Hard to not wonder if Dinwiddie knows something few others do.
