The Brooklyn Nets, along with the rest of the NBA, are set to get back to work very soon.
On Thursday, the NBPA “tentatively approved a start date of December 22, 2020 for the 2020-21 NBA season and a 72-game schedule.”
The league and the union still have some details to work out ahead of the 2020 NBA Draft, which is set for November 18. But, the NBPA “is confident that the parties will reach [an] agreement on these remaining issues relevant to the upcoming season.”
While fans will get to watch game action right around Christmas time, players will have to get going with their teammates sooner — which Nets point guard Spencer Dinwiddie made sure to point out on Twitter after the news broke on Thursday:
3.5weeks. Get ready bros.

Dinwiddie also took the time to remind everyone he is not interested in individual accolades. His goal for the 2020-21 NBA season is to win in all, tweeting:
AND I AINT HERE TO WIN 6MOY
