Spencer Dinwiddie hopes to be back on the court by Tuesday

Spencer Dinwiddie offered another progress report regarding his battle with COVID-19.

Spencer Dinwiddie was finally able to get out of bed and move around eight days after he was diagnosed with the COVID-19, and he has no intention of slowing down.

On Sunday, the Brooklyn Nets point guard offered up another progress report on his recovery process:

The sinus pressure headaches when I get up are starting to subside. But I was a lil too bullish on the bike. Got dizzy and felt weak smh.

Dinwiddie will find out on Monday if he still has the illness. Should he test negative for COVID-19, the Nets will allow Dinwiddie back on the court Tuesday.

Dinwiddie’s status for the Disney bubble was up in the air when he first tested positive for the novel coronavirus. (He found out when league-wide testing was done, as the 22 teams invited to the NBA’s restart began to prepare for the resumption of play.)

Based on his last few updates, it appears the guard has every intention of playing — so long as he can shake COVID-19.
