Brett McMurphy of the Action Network has the Spartans bowling in his updated projections following Week 2 action.
The future is uncertain for the Michigan State football program with head coach Mel Tucker suspended indefinitely after sexual harassment allegations came to light this weekend. However, on the field, Michigan State has a good start this fall with a 2-0 record.
That good start has bumped the Spartans back into McMurphy’s updated bowl projections. McMurphy put Michigan State in the Guaranteed Rate Bowl. He has Michigan State squaring off with Kansas in that projected matchup.

These are some wild, wacky times. Just look at my new @ActionNetworkHQ bowl projections. Texas in @CFBPlayoff w/UGA, FSU & Michigan; Bama not in a New Year's 6 bowl & Rutgers is bowl bound. Also, Cotton: USC-OU; Sun: Colorado-Duke; ReliaQuest: ND-Tennesseehttps://t.co/ddm8qa98Ke
