For the first time since 2016, the CU Events Center will be changing its court design.
The official Colorado Buffaloes Twitter account teased on Monday that “it might be time” for an update to Sox Walseth Court. Personally, I am a fan of the current look, but change is inevitable when it comes to sports. As long as the new design is better than the eyesore that is Matthew Knight Arena’s court, I’ll be happy (sorry, Ducks Wire).
On Tuesday, we were then given a pair of photos showing the current hardwood being removed. Buff fans are even pleading on Twitter for the old wood to be made available for sale, because why not have a slice of history.
