Offensive Line
Oklahoma has the guys to once again have a top-shelf offensive line, but it is still mostly a mystery what collection will be used once the season rolls around. Saturday should at least give us a glimpse of what we can likely expect next season.
Who will get the bulk of the center snaps? Chris Murray? Andrew Raym? Robert Congel? Other? This is just one of the major questions.
Bill Bedenbaugh discussed earlier in the spring how it is more than just finding the five best guys, but trying to find the best possible combination. What group works together best on the field. He has loads of options, so I’d expect to see lots of different things in the game to see them in a live setting against the phenomenal Sooners’ defensive front.
For the Oklahoma offense to be as good as it can be and get back to that nearly unstoppable level of a few years ago, it starts up front where there are multiple interesting position battles developing. We will not get all the answers in the spring game, but it will be great to see somewhat where things stand after a month or so of practice.
