Th Oklahoma Sooners extended an offer to dynamic wide receiver/defensive back, Antonio Kite. The 247Sports four-star class 2022 prospect was a vertical threat at Anniston High School. On the defensive side of the football, he has outstanding ball-tracking skills to work over the top of receivers to intercept the ball.
With his experience playing both receiver and defensive back, Kite has a knack for getting his hands on the football. He is aggressive at the point of attack on routes and defensively, fights for the ball. His understanding of route concepts and quarterback tendencies as a receiver translates to his ability as a DB in coverage. Kite brings exceptional athleticsm and would excel in Lincoln Riley or Alex Grinch’s system at OU.
