Social media talks about Kentucky linebacker Trevin Wallace at the NFL Combine

Kentucky’s Trevin Wallace had a good NFL Combine workout, and people noticed.

The NFL Combine is now in full swing, and a total of six Kentucky Wildcats players will participate. The even began on Thursday night and will conclude on Sunday, with different position groups working out each day. First up was the defensive line and linebackers, and Trevin Wallace was the first Wildcat to take the field.

Wallace had a good workout Thursday night in Indianapolis. He ran the fourth fastest 40 yard dash at 4.51 seconds. His vertical leap of 37.5 inches was the second best in his positional group. He was also second in the broad jump.

There is little doubt that Wallace will be drafted. His game tape shows a player with tremendous potential who may have been a day two selection. His instincts are great and he displayed plenty of range to go with it.

After his workout, a number of draft analysts, both professional and amateur, posted comments on X, formerly known as Twitter. Here are some of the thoughts that people had after Wallace went through the drills at the NFL Combine.
