The things have plagued Texas throughout the last 6 years: Free throws, perimeter shooting, situational basketball.
Every one of those areas were great for Texas today. A true testament to improved coaching and leadership from upperclassmen.

Shaka Smart and the Texas Longhorns just won the Big 12 tourney.
There aren’t more than five teams in the country as talented as the Longhorns.

UT president Jay Hartzell confirms the Tower was not lit up orange last night for Shaka Smart's men's Big 12 hoops championship because they "are waiting until they'll be here to see it." Could be a long wait if Texas goes on a deep run as it can.
