Social media reacts to Khaman Maluach’s UCLA photoshoot

If UCLA can land him, that would be huge.

The UCLA Bruins met with a potential future centerpiece of their program last month. 

Khaman Maluach, the 7′ 2″ South Sudanese standout from the NBA Academy Africa, visited the Bruins on February 21st. Recruited by Kansas, Duke, and Kentucky, among others, UCLA hopes to land one of the biggest prospects. Figuratively and literally.

Maluach posted photos from his visit, wearing UCLA blue threads for the first time, and, understandably, it sparked debate and reaction on social media. The five-star recruit is shaping up to be one of the best in his class and a probable future NCAA star.
