Social media reacts to Hugh Freeze’s interesting comment on Georgia rivalry

Auburn fans seem to disagree with Hugh Freeze’s approach to the Georgia game.

Rivalry week has made its way to the Plains as Auburn (3-1, 0-1 SEC) is set to host Georgia (4-0, 1-0) Saturday for the latest installment of the Deep South’s Oldest Rivalry.

This will be [autotag]Hugh Freeze[/autotag]’s first time taking part in the rivalry and he made some waves when he was asked about it at his press conference Monday.

“I don’t sense that it has the hatred that is in some other rivalries I’ve been a part of,” Freeze said. “Nonetheless, I think it’s intense. I’ll find out. I’m not big on hate. I’m big on that this game means so much to so many people so we should compete in a way out of love for our people. Not necessarily for hate to other people. That’s kind of the way I operate. I hope we compete because we love Auburn and it means something to the Auburn people to compete against Georgia. That’ll be my approach. Love is a great motivator for me.”

Auburn fans had plenty to say about his approach to the game and took to social media to react, here is a look at the top reactions.
