On Sunday, Britt Prince, a five-star guard out of Elkhorn North High School, announced that she was staying home and was committing to the Nebraska women’s basketball team as part of their 2024 recruiting class. On Wednesday, she made it official with her signature.
According to ESPN, Prince, the No. 28 prospect in the 2024 recruiting cycle, is a game-changing recruit for Nebraska and head coach Amy Williams. The three-time Nebraska Gatorade Player of the Year averaged 24.0 points as a junior at Elkhorn North, as well as 8.6 rebounds and 6.2 assists per game.
Prince also received offers in her recruitment from Louisville, Iowa, Oregon, Michigan, Indiana, Kansas, Oklahoma, Marquette, Illinois, North Carolina, Florida, Creighton, UCLA, and others before committing to the Huskers.
