Social media reacts: Nick Smith Jr. not starting, but Hogs need him against A&M

A win brings the Hogs closer to 20 wins, which is a sweet spot for teams on the bubble looking to make the tournament.

Two weeks ago, the Hogs hosted Texas A&M, defeating the Aggies, 81-70.

It’s time for round two.

And just like the first time, Arkansas is coming off a disappointing loss, this time to Mississippi State. Twitter was excited to see star freshman, Nick Smith Jr. back on the court despite the loss, but Arkansas don’t have much room, if any, for error.

Texas A&M is not just looking for vengeance, they are also trying to keep their names out of the bubble, but the Hogs have to do the same. The Aggies are the favorites and have a 61% of winning according to ESPN’s BPI. They sit in second place of a tough race…outside of Alabama.
