The Philadelphia 76ers have sole possession of the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and they are now in the driver’s seat with 17 games to play before the playoffs. They just now need to take care of business in order to lock up the top spot and home-court advantage for the playoffs.
They will take on a very good Los Angeles Clippers team on Friday at home as they look to continue their momentum, but they still have to go to battle without the services of three of their top players.
Tobias Harris will miss Friday’s game with right knee soreness and it is an issue that has bothered him recently. He missed their game against the Oklahoma City Thunder on April 10 and he was held out late against the Brooklyn Nets on Wednesday as the issue was bothering him again.
Seth Curry and Dwight Howard are out for the matchup as well. Curry is dealing with a left hip flexor tightness and Howard is out due to left knee soreness.

The Sixers will now most likely turn to Matisse Thybulle and Furkan Korkmaz to replace Harris and Curry in the starting lineup while Mike Scott will likely receive extended minutes. Tipoff from Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EDT.
