The Philadelphia 76ers welcomed Tobias Harris, Shake Milton, and Matisse Thybulle to the lineup to give them some reinforcements, but they then lost another player in the process.
Mike Scott, who just recently returned from a knee injury he suffered on New Year’s Eve, suffered some soreness in his right knee in the first half of Thursday’s rematch with the Miami Heat and he will not return. He played 3:04 in the first quarter and he grabbed two rebounds while committing a personal foul.
It is unfortunate due to the fact that coach Doc Rivers does like having Scott in his rotation. He is not going to make or break Philadelphia, but they really need his shooting and tenacity off the bench.

In the meantime, the rookies continue to play well and the Sixers have been getting help from Milton with 19 points off the bench as they lead the shorthanded Heat 73-58 at the half in Philadelphia.
