Sixers’ Tobias Harris gives thoughts on current James Harden situation

Tobias Harris gives his thoughts on the current James Harden situation for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris is a veteran in this league. As somebody who was selected in the 2011 draft, he has been around the block quite a few times and has seen almost everything one can in the NBA.

In just 4 1/2 seasons with the Sixers, he is dealing with his second trade request within the team. He dealt with the Ben Simmons saga in the 2021-22 season and is dealing with the current James Harden situation.

The Beard obviously wants out, but he has been practicing with the team and being a professional while he waits for a trade that will allow him to move on.

Harris talked with Michael Scotto of HoopsHype and gave his thoughts on the Harden situation:

I think nobody has any ill will or hard feelings on that situation. We’re just taking it day by day and seeing where it goes.

Obviously, Harris and the Sixers are taking the professional route. At the moment, Harden is a member of this team, and everybody is expected to just do their job. If that’s the case, Philadelphia will be able to find success until a Harden trade happens and both sides move on.
