The Philadelphia 76ers now know who their Round 1 of the playoffs beginning on Sunday at 1 p.m. EDT from the Wells Fargo Center. After a week of not knowing who they will face, they now know they’ll take on the Washington Wizards.
Russell Westbrook and the Wizards knocked off the Indiana Pacers 142-115 in the play-in tournament and they will officially be the No. 8 seed in the East. Westbrook had 18 points, 15 assists, and eight rebounds and Bradley Beal had 25 points and five rebounds.
The Sixers swept the Wizards in their 3-game series in the regular season. However, Washington has a ton of momentum and with the way Westbrook is playing, they will have to be ready for Game 1 on Sunday.

The Sixers and the Wizards will also be matching up in the playoffs since the 1986 season when Philadelphia won the series 3-2. Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons will be looking to lead the team on a deep playoff run with the No. 1 seed.
