The day that many of Philadelphia 76ers fans have wanted has come as they have made a change to their jumbo starting lineup. The team has made the bold benched Al Horford.
Coach Brett Brown and general manager Elton Brand had had discussions about making a change to the starting lineup with Horford’s name being brought up initially. The move has officially been made and Brown will ride the hot hand and insert Furkan Korkmaz into the starting lineup. Korkmaz has scored 30+ points in their last two games.
Another change has been Josh Richardson being inserted back into the starting lineup in place of Shake Milton. It is the first time Richardson is starting since returning to the team after an injury.

The move comes at a curious time with it being the final game before the All-Star break, but the Clippers also present a challenge of small ball. So Brown has decided to match up with them and go with the smaller lineup and work things through.
Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7:00 p.m. EST. [lawrence-related id=25557,25538,25530]
