Sixers starters Joel Embiid, Seth Curry to return in matchup vs. Heat

Joel Embiid and Seth Curry will return for the Philadelphia 76ers against the Miami Heat.

As the Philadelphia 76ers get set to take on the Miami Heat on Wednesday back at home, they will get a little healthier out on the floor. They were down two starters on Monday as both Joel Embiid and Seth Curry were ruled out shortly before tipoff, but they will both return back at home on Wednesday.

In their loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday, Embiid was ruled out with a right rib injury while Curry was out due to right shoulder soreness. Curry was ruled out about 20 minutes before tipoff while Embiid was ruled out almost right at tipoff. The result was a pretty predictable blowout loss on the road.

While Embiid and Curry will return to the lineup, the Sixers are starting Matisse Thybulle for a third consecutive game instead of Danny Green. It will be interesting to see if this is a permanent move for the team in the future.

Tipoff from the Wells Fargo Center is set for 7 p.m. EST.
