The Philadelphia 76ers will return home on Wednesday to take on the Miami Heat and it does give them an opportunity to get back on track. The Heat are going to be very shorthanded as they will be without All-Stars Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo.
The Sixers might be shorthanded as well. They were blown out by the Memphis Grizzlies on Monday when they found out that Seth Curry would be out due to right shoulder soreness about 20 minutes before tipoff and then they found out almost at tipoff that Joel Embiid would be out due to a right rib injury.
As they get set for the Heat on Wednesday, both Curry and Embiid are listed as questionable. While Miami is down Butler, Adebayo, Caleb Martin, Victor Oladipo, and Markieff Morris.
Joel Embiid (right rib soreness) and Seth Curry (right shoulder soreness) are listed as questionable for Sixers-Heat.
Butler, Adebayo, Martin, Morris and Oladipo are out for Miami. Tyler Herro is questionable with a right quad contusion.

The Sixers are sitting at 15-13 and as the 6 seed in the East. The Heat are 16-12 so this does give Philadelphia an opportunity to move up in the standings and be able to continue making strides forward.
