The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Detroit Pistons on Sunday in the season finale and the question for them becomes whether they should rest their stars in order to prepare for the playoffs or push for the No. 3 seed and avoid a Round 1 matchup with the Toronto Raptors.
Now, even if the Sixers knock off the Pistons on Sunday, they will still need some help from the Memphis Grizzlies who have nothing to play for. They would need to defeat the Boston Celtic coupled with that Sixers win.
As they prepare for the Pistons, their star duo of Joel Embiid and James Harden are listed as questionable for the matchup. Embiid has right knee soreness and Harden is still dealing with his left hamstring issue.

It remains to be seen if Embiid and Harden will play in this game on Sunday, but it will all depend on how the Sixers view the Raptors. Obviously, Matisse Thybulle will not be able to play in Toronto due to their vaccination mandate and the Raptors took three of the four matchups in the regular season.
