The Philadelphia 76ers will get a bit healthier on Tuesday when they take on the New York Knicks on the road for a rematch after Sunday’s win.
While Joel Embiid, De’Anthony Melton, and Robert Covington will remain sidelined with their ailments, the Sixers will have Tyrese Maxey return from a 3-game absence due to a concussion.
Maxey suffered the concussion in a March 3 win over the Dallas Mavericks. He was then sent home before a road matchup with the Brooklyn Nets on March 5 and Philadelphia then lost three in a row without him.
The Sixers bounced back with a win over the Knicks on Sunday and will welcome Maxey back on Tuesday now that he’s cleared concussion protocol.

The Sixers will need Maxey’s scoring ability to lead this group. Philadelphia will continue to need others to step up and produce, but having Maxey back will certainly make everybody’s life easier.
