The Philadelphia 76ers will take on the Houston Rockets on Friday night to conclude a wild 2019-20 regular season that included a long hiatus due to a global pandemic. They know their playoff opponent is the Boston Celtics and considering their star big man is dealing with an injury, one would assume he wouldn’t play.
However, the Sixers will have Joel Embiid active on Friday against the Rockets and he will start. The Sixers will also have Shake Milton, Josh Richardson, Tobias Harris, and Al Horford start alongside Embiid.
Glenn Robinson III will miss another game with the left hip pointer injury that he has been dealing with since the team’s second scrimmage game.
Joel Embiid will play and he will start tonight. Glenn Robinson III is out. #Sixers

The Sixers have to have these guys play together and get some chemistry before the playoffs begin on Monday. The Celtics will be waiting on Monday and without Ben Simmons, Philadelphia needs these guys to build some chemistry with each other. This game with the Rockets offers them that opportunity.
