As if there was any doubt after a helluva week, Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has earned the Eastern Conference Player of the Week award. The big fella returned from the flu, and he had an amazing week on the floor.
In four games, Embiid averaged a ridiculous 40 points and 11 rebounds, 5.3 rebounds and 2 blocks as the Sixers finished the week 3-1. The week was capped with an historic Sunday win over the Utah Jazz where he had a career-high 59 points with 11 rebounds, eight assists and a career-high tying seven blocks.
He joins Michael Jordan as the only NBA players to average 40 points, 10 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 blocks over a four-game span in the history of the game. The big fella was incredible all week long to lead Philadelphia to success.

Now, Embiid will have four days off to rest his body before the Sixers get back to work against the Milwaukee Bucks on Friday. That will be another back-to-back for Philadelphia so the big fella will have to be ready to get back to work.
