Philadelphia 76ers star big man Joel Embiid has been playing at an unbelievable level lately, even for his high standards, as he has the Sixers moving back in the right direction.
The Sixers have won four games in a row with Embiid scoring 30+ in all four games and they are sitting a 20-16 on the season. The Sixers have greatly benefited from the play of their superstar leader on both ends of the floor.
Specifically, in the month of December, Embiid averaged 29.2 points, 11.2 rebounds, and 3.9 assists while playing in 13 games. The big fella had some monstrous performances on the road and he was able to lead the team to some impressive wins.
All of that has led to him winning the Eastern Conference Player of the Month award for December.
