Sixers star Joel Embiid in attendance as Phillies close out Braves in NLDS

Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid was in attendance as the Philadelphia Phillies close out the Atlanta Braves in Game 4 of the NLDS.

Red October has swept the City of Brotherly Love as the Philadelphia Phillies are making magic happen on the baseball diamond. The Phillies were on the verge of not even making the playoffs, but they earned the final playoff spot in the National League and are now off to the National League Championship Series.

After sweeping the St. Louis Cardinals in the Wild Card round, the Phillies finished off the defending World Series champions in the Atlanta Braves. The Phils got a 3-run homer from Brandon Marsh, then JT Realmuto delivered the first inside-the-park home run by a catcher in playoff baseball history, and Bryce Harper hitting an opposite field homer as Philadelphia eliminated the Braves by a score of 8-3 in Game 4.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been supporting their pro sports brethren throughout this run and Saturday was no different. Sixers star big man Joel Embiid was in attendance leading the rowdy crowd at Citizens Bank Park.
