Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid has been busy at the beginning of the offseason. He recently had a new Hulu commercial with NFL stars Baker Mayfield and Saquon Barkley and now he has released a new commercial for his brand new signature shoe that is debuting on September 18.
The shoe is part of his “Embiid One” line and it will be called “Origin” which will give love to his home country of Cameroon. The commercial features Sixers PA announcer Matt Cord yelling his name in the background as if he is introducing him to the Wells Fargo Center crowd as well as having colors from his country’s flag.

Embiid’s star is rising as he continues to make strides in the NBA. He is a 3-time All-Star, a 2-time All-NBA member, and a 2-time All-Defensive Team member. He averaged 23 points during the season and then pushed it to 30 points per game in the playoffs. If there is anybody who deserves a signature shoe, it’s Embiid.
