The 2021 All-Star game is a go and it will be on March 7 in Atlanta as the league attempts to get it going safely in the midst of a pandemic. The Philadelphia 76ers, who sit at the top of the Eastern Conference, will most likely send a few members of their team to Atlanta and they found out one of them on Thursday.
Star big man Joel Embiid, who is off to a terrific start to the season, has officially been voted in as a starter for the 2021 All-Star game. He is averaging 29.7 points, 10.8 rebounds, and 3.1 assists while shooting 54% from the floor and 39.7% from deep. He is squarely in the MVP conversation and he has the Sixers in a good position this deep into the season.
He is joined in the East starting lineup by Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal, and Kyrie Irving.

The Sixers will get back to work on Friday against the Chicago Bulls where Ben Simmons and Tobias Harris will continue to build their own All-Star candidacy. The reserves will be announced soon and the team will be able to find out who exactly they will send to State Farm Arena.
