Philadelphia 76ers guard Ben Simmons reacts to a new NBA season to start in December.

The NBA season is set to begin in December after a lot of uncertainty in regards to when and how the league would start the season. The news brings more optimism for the 30 teams in the league as they all get set to begin a new quest for an NBA title.

For the Philadelphia 76ers, it means that they can get to really move into the next era of their franchise. It means that new coach Doc Rivers gets to go to work with Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid and new President of Basketball Operations Daryl Morey gets to try and work his magic with the pieces around the new stars.

Simmons’ 2019-20 season ended prematurely due to a knee injury he suffered in the seeding games inside the bubble. Now that the 2020-21 season is set to begin on December 22, he is ready to begin anew and he is back in the gym getting ready for it.
