Sixers star Ben Simmons out again vs. Bulls due to stomach illness

Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons is out again against the Chicago Bulls.

Philadelphia 76ers star Ben Simmons went off for 42 points in Monday’s road trip finale against the Utah Jazz, but he has yet to have an encore performance due to a stomach illness he has recently been suffering from.

The star missed Wednesday’s win over the Houston Rockets and after initially being listed as probable for Friday’s matchup with the Chicago Bulls, the star will miss the game due to the illness.

Philadelphia will also be missing Shake Milton for the fifth straight game and they will have to figure out who runs the offense. They went with Seth Curry and Tobias Harris on Wednesday so one can probably expect something similar on Friday.

The Sixers turned to Matisse Thybulle on Wednesday to start in place of Simmons so it will be interesting to see if coach Doc Rivers will go to him again in this one.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. EST from the Wells Fargo Center.
