Sixers shooter Furkan Korkmaz back in the gym ahead of training camp

Philadelphia 76ers guard Furkan Korkmaz is back in the gym ahead of training camp on December 1.

The 2020-21 NBA season continues to inch closer and for the Philadelphia 76ers, it offers a new opportunity to get themselves back on track following a brief detour in the 2019-20 season.

The season is set to begin on December 22 and that means training camp is approaching quickly. It is set to begin on December 1 and teams have to get their players back in the home market.

Furkan Korkmaz has been in his home country Turkey putting in work in the gyms over there to get ready for the season, but as training camp approaches, he is back in the training facility at home. He posted a picture of the gym at the team’s complex in Camden, New Jersey.

Korkmaz had a breakout season in 2019-20 as he averaged 9.8 points and he shot 40.2% from deep as he really established himself on the team. Unfortunately, he struggled in the playoffs against the Boston Celtics as he missed all six of his 3-point attempts in the series. He will be looking to bounce back in this upcoming season.
