The Philadelphia 76ers are continuing to work through the Kelly Oubre Jr. injury after the veteran out of Kansas was struck by a vehicle on Nov. 11. He suffered a fractured rib as well as other ailments as he continues to take steps forward.
The Sixers welcomed Oubre Jr. back to practice on Monday, but he didn’t do much other than some light cardio and some light shooting. The Sixers are still working with him to help him get to the next level of his recovery and get him back on the floor.
On Tuesday, the team announced that he is continuing to recover from the rib fracture and that he will be re-evaluated in one week.

In eight games with the Sixers, Oubre Jr. is averaging 16.3 points and 5.1 rebounds while shooting 50% from the floor and 37.8% from deep. When he does return, he is going to join a very talented and productive group of wings that includes Nic Batum and Robert Covington.
