The 2021 G League season has finally begun inside their bubble down in Orlando and Philadelphia 76ers rookie Paul Reed is already making a big impact. The Sixers sent him down there with their G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, to get the necessary court time to develop.
In three games with the Blue Coats, he has been terrific averaging 24.7 points, 11.0 rebounds, and 2.0 steals while helping the Blue Coats get off to a 3-0 start while also shooting 62% from the floor on 17 attempts per game. He had 31 points and 11 rebounds in their win on Sunday over the Agua Caliente Clippers as he is taking full advantage of his playing opportunity.

Reed has a lot of potential to become a rotational player at the NBA level with his athleticism, his work ethic, and his skill around the basket. There are some things he still has to continue to work on, but there is a lot this guy can do and his time with the Blue Coats should be beneficial.
