Sixers rookie Marial Shayok fills box score in Blue Coats win over Magic

Philadelphia 7e6rs rookie Marial Shayok continues to play well for the Delaware Blue Coats.

The Philadelphia 76ers are working on gett back on track, but rookie Marial Shayok continues to stay on track in his rookie season. The Sixers second-round pick out of Iowa State continues to show off some impressive things as he helped the team’s G League affiliate, the Delaware Blue Coats, knock off the Lakeland Magic 108-95 on Tuesday night on the road.

On Tuesday, Shayok did not lead the Blue Coats in scoring, that honor went to Christ Koumadje, but he did fill the stat sheet. Shayok scored 16 points, he brought down five rebounds, and he dished out five assists. He did not make a 3-pointer, missing on all three attempts, but he shot a respectable 6-for-13 from the floor.

Xavier Munford tied Shayok for second in scoring on the night with 16 points while Zhaire Smith had six points and three rebounds. Smith only took six shots making half of them and he was 0-for-2 from deep as he continues to try and work his way back into form. [lawrence-related id=23478,23470,23454]
