While the Philadelphia 76ers continue to work things out on the floor with now five games left following a win over the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday, their rookie big man had himself a big game for the Delaware Blue Coats in the G League on Saturday evening.
Rookie big man Charles Bassey exploded on Saturday as he went for a ridiculous 37 points on 13-for-16 shooting while also pulling down 21 rebounds and blocking two shots in 31 minutes in a 132-114 win over the Wisconsin Herd. Bassey and the Blue Coats ended up winning both of the games with the Herd to end the regular season for the Blue Coats before the G League playoffs begin.

This a big night for Bassey as he and the Blue Coats will now look to carry this into the G League playoffs and grow as a team. Bassey has been impressive down in the G League and the hope for the Sixers is that he can eventually become a real contributor for them in the future.
