Sixers road woes continue, get crushed by Bucks in Milwaukee 119-98

The Philadelphia 76ers get blown out by the Milwaukee Bucks on the road.

The Philadelphia 76ers have been trying to figure out this mystifying issue all season. Why can’t they carry over their elite home play with them on the road?

They did not find any answers on Saturday as they ran into the Milwaukee Bucks and they had another rough night as they fell 119-98. It was only a 6 point deficit at the half, but Milwaukee then went on a big run to lead by 20 after three quarters. The Bucks led by as many as 25 and they never trailed.

The Sixers did suffer through some injuries as Ben Simmons did leave after tweaking the lower back injury that kept him out a game and that certainly played a role in this one, but it does not excuse the team continuing to have effort issues on the road. This team is now an inexcusable 9-20 on the road while being 26-2 at home. It is absolutely ridiculous.

Joel Embiid had 17 points and 11 rebounds and Furkan Korkmaz and Shake Milton also poured in 17 points each to lead Philadelphia while Tobias Harris had 11. It was an overall tough night for this team.

Al Horford continues to struggle in his new bench role as he shot 1-for-7 and had three points and seven rebounds. The big contract the Sixers paid him is looking more and more like a mistake by the game.

Philadelphia returns home on Monday to host the Atlanta Hawks. [lawrence-related id=26297,26290,26265]
