Philadelphia 76ers rookie Ricky Council IV produced a career high on Wednesday in the G League to lead the Delaware Blue Coats to a win over the Long Island Nets.
Council, who is signed to a two-way contract, recorded 32 points, four rebounds, two assists and one blocked shot in the 119-104 win. He went 14-of-20 from the field in 38 minutes, topping his previous season high of 31 points on Nov. 22.
The undrafted guard from Arkansas is one of seven players in the G League with multiple 30-point games this season. He used his size to get into the paint often and converted several tough finishes at the rim throughout the contest.

The 22-year-old is averaging 24.3 points, 5.9 rebounds, 1.9 assists and 1.3 steals on 51.2% shooting from the field in seven games with the Blue Coats. He is eighth in the G League in scoring and tied for sixth in total field goals (62).
Council is off to a tremendous start after leading the Blue Coats to a 4-3 start this season. He was known as a good shooter and finisher who can impact games nightly and has shown that ability in the early going through seven appearances.
He has yet to appear in a game with the Sixers this season but totaled 10 points, five rebounds, two steals and one assist in three preseason appearances.
