There is a lot of excitement surrounding the Philadelphia 76ers at this moment in time. Despite having a tough season on the floor in the 2019-20 season, the Sixers have since made a flurry of moves off the court to try and get back on track.
One of those big moves was bringing in Daryl Morey as their new President of Basketball Operations. He is a guy who has had a lot of success in his career and he is a guy who will be charged with getting things back in the right direction for them.
Morey was introduced to the media on Monday and he gushed over the talent that star big man Joel Embiid brings to the table. His love for Embiid is a real thing as he is looking forward to working with his first real big man since his time with Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets.
After his press conference, Morey and his new big man were on the phone FaceTiming to ring in a new era of Sixers basketball.
