We continue our look back at some of the better recent playoff performances for the Philadelphia 76ers as the new season gets closer and closer to the beginning in December. This one takes us back to Game 4 against the Miami Heat in Round 1 of 2018.

The Sixers had dropped Game 2 of the series at home and the veteran Heat had home-court advantage in their possession. However, the Sixers snatched it back with an impressive showing in Game 3. They now had their chance in Game 4 to bring a 3-1 lead with them back to the City of Brotherly Love.

Miami came back hard in this one on their home floor. Led by the future Hall of Famer, Dwyane Wade, off their bench, they gave the Sixers all they could handle. The inexperienced Sixers did come up large led by Ben Simmons who record the first triple-double of his playoff career by going for 17 points, 13 rebounds, and 10 assists in a 106-102 win in Miami.

The win was an impressive one as it seemed like Wade was going to make all the plays again down the stretch just as he did in Game 2. Instead, Simmons and the Sixers were the ones who were able to close the game out and come to within a game of moving on to Round 2 for the first time since 2012.
