As the Philadelphia 76ers continue to navigate the preseason and prepare for the 2022-23 season, they face tough decisions to get their roster down to the league limit.
The Sixers entered the preseason with 20 players, but they have to get to 15. They took a step toward that number on Sunday morning.
Per Keith Pompey of The Philadelphia Inquirer, the Sixers will part ways with Trevelin Queen. Philadelphia brought in the 2022 G League MVP on a non-guaranteed deal in free agency, but he was not able to make a big impact on the team.
Unfortunately for Queen, he did not get much of a chance. He suffered a head injury in the preseason opener against the Brooklyn Nets. He scored four points and had two steals in five minutes off the bench in that game.
Im told the #Sixers have parted ways with Trevelin Queen. The roster now stands at 19 players

Queen has battled through adversity such as homelessness before. This is just a minor setback for him as he continues his NBA journey.
