Sixers’ Mo Bamba shows off his new No. 7 uniform on Instagram

New Philadelphia 76ers big man Mo Bamba posts his new uniform number on Instagram.

The 2023-24 season is nearly here. Teams are gathering for training camp and the promise of a new season. The Philadelphia 76ers are no different: They are preparing for another run at a title.

They were relatively quiet in the offseason as they had to deal with the James Harden saga. But they signed Patrick Beverley and Mo Bamba on one-year deals among other moves.

Bamba is expected to be the backup to Joel Embiid and on Saturday, he posted his new uniform number on his Instagram story. After wearing No. 5 and No. 11 with the Orlando Magic and No. 12 with the Los Angeles Lakers, Bamba will wear No. 7 for the Sixers.

Bamba is a terrific rim protector and he is expected to give the Sixers a big boost in that area when the season begins. Philadelphia heads to Colorado State University for camp on Oct. 3 and begins the season on the road on Oct. 26 against the new-look Milwaukee Bucks.
