Sixers’ Mike Scott to return vs. Magic, Glenn Robinson III remains out

The Philadelphia 76ers will welcome back Mike Scott while still missing Glenn Robinson III against the Orlando Magic.

The Philadelphia 76ers are obviously dealing with a big injury to All-Star Ben Simmons, but they will be getting the help of a veteran who has yet to play in the seeding games in Orlando.

Veteran Mike Scott has been dealing with right knee soreness and he has not played since the team’s last scrimmage game. However, he is all set to return on Friday as the team takes on the Orlando Magic at the HP Field House at Disney World.

In other injury news, the team will still be missing Glenn Robinson III who is still dealing with the effects of a left hip pointer issue. He has not played since suffering the injury in the team’s second scrimmage game against the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The Sixers have been in need of Robinson III’s play off the bench so one has to hope that he can get healthy soon and get back out there. The return of Scott does come at a convenient time as he can come in and provide toughness and shooting around Joel Embiid and Al Horford.

Tipoff from Disney World is set for 6:30 p.m. EST. [lawrence-related id=36370,36364,36350]
