The saga continues between Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers as both sides continue to try and find a solution to this ordeal. The Sixers know that Simmons does not want to be in Philadelphia anymore, but they also have not yet been able to find a suitable trade offer.
Therefore, it would benefit both sides if Simmons would just return to the team and at least show his face and be as professional as possible until the Sixers can trade him.
As the season continues to approach, the Sixers and Simmons’ representation, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports, are working around the clock to get Simmons to return to the team. The 25-year old 3-time All-Star has already sold his house as he prepares for a trade, but he also has four years on his contract and it would be beneficial for him to just report to the team while the Sixers work on finding a trade.
The plan remains for the Sixers to continue canvassing the league for trades, but the possibility of Simmons reporting to the team has increased in recent days, sources tell ESPN. https://t.co/zzS14E6nm6

It is clear that Simmons wants nothing to do with the Sixers, and that’s fine, but at the end of the day, he has a big contract with the team and he will have to honor it and be professional until a solution to this situation is found. It appears that the embattled star will actually show up and put on a Sixers uniform again.
