PHILADELPHIA–On Feb. 2, the NBA will announce the All-Star reserves for both the Eastern Conference and the Western Conference. The 2023 All-Star game takes place at Vivint Arena in Salt Lake City and the Philadelphia 76ers figure to have at least two players at the mid-season event.
Joel Embiid and James Harden, two of the top players in the league, figure to have their names called on Thursday night. Embiid is having one incredible season averaging 33.5 points and 10.1 rebounds as he continues to dominate while Harden is averaging 21.4 points and 11.0 assists to go along with 6.4 rebounds.
Embiid was expecting to be named a starter, but he was snubbed in that respect, so considering the fact that he felt disrespected, he joked that he might not even be named an All-Star at all.
