The 76ers had to head to Brooklyn on the second night of a back-to-back and they were looking to head home and prepare for a matchup with the Nuggets on Saturday afternoon.
However, the COVID-19 pandemic seems to have caught up to the Sixers as they received word that somebody within the organization tested positive for the virus.
The team now has to remain in New York to complete contact tracing and go from there.
The player who tested positive was revealed to be guard Seth Curry who missed the game due to a sore left ankle.
He was immediately isolated from the team and he then left the arena to be separated from the team.
Joel Embiid, who recently celebrated the birth of his son, sat next to Curry on the bench in this one and he will self isolate from this family until he knows he does not have it
