Sixers forward Tobias Harris addresses trade rumors after loss to Hornets

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris addresses the recent trade rumors after the loss to the Charlotte Hornets at home.

The Philadelphia 76ers will be involved in a ton of trade rumors over the next couple of weeks leading up to the deadline on Feb. 10 and every player on the roster will most likely be involved.

While the player who will receive the most attention is Ben Simmons due to his unique situation, Tobias Harris has also had his name floated around in trade rumors recently as well as a player Philadelphia is looking to attach in a Simmons deal.

After the team’s 109-98 loss to the Charlotte Hornets on Wednesday, Harris addressed his name being brought up in trade rumors.

“Honestly, that’s something I’d rather not talk about,” he stated. “It already took too much energy out of me yesterday and I just moved on from that. This is my 11th year in the NBA, this is not my first rodeo, this is not the first time that I’ve been in trade rumors, and it probably won’t be the last so that’s that.”

Harris has been traded five times in his career already. He was even acquired by the Sixers via trade from the Los Angeles Clippers so all of this is nothing new for the 11-year veteran out of Tennessee. He just has to keep his head down and continue to play hard out on the floor.
