The Philadelphia 76ers entered their matchup with the Toronto Raptors coming off two road wins to begin their road trip. They were looking to complete a perfect 3-0 road trip and to end a nasty losing streak in Toronto, but neither of those things happened on a cold January night.
The Sixers fell to the Raptors by a score of 107-95 and they remain winless at Scotiabank Arena since their last win there on November 10, 2012. Philadelphia led 35-26 after one quarter, but they were then outscored in each quarter the rest of the way and they weren’t able to make the plays down the stretch in order to win this one.
They were led by Tobias Harris who had 22 points and six rebounds, Ben Simmons had 17 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists, and Furkan Korkmaz had 17 points filling in for an injured Josh Richardson who left after suffering a hamstring strain in the first quarter.

Toronto received a big game from Fred VanVleet who led the Raptors with 22 points and eight assists and Marc Gasol had 17 as he took advantage of no Joel Embiid in the paint. They led six players who all scored at least 16 points on the night.
At the end of the day, Philadelphia did take two out of three on the road trip and they now will have two days off before hosting LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday. [lawrence-related id=24046,24037,24005]
